Purchasing & Shipping FAQ

Purchase & Shipping

Will my CNC machine be upgradeable in the future?

Absolutely! We have designed the machines to be modular, so most parts are upgradable and user replaceable. This means that your machine won’t go out of date and you can grow with us.

Can I pay a CNC machine off?

Absolutely! We do require a minimum 40% deposit, but the rest can be paid over the lead time. This time can also be extended to accommodate your financial situation.

Do you offer finance?

Unfortunately not at the moment. We can offer extended terms for businesses on a case-by-case basis.

Alternatively, you may want to consider options such as GEM Visa, which offers interest-free periods on large purchases.

Can I get a refund if my circumstances change?

We do understand that at times circumstances can change, so we are more than happy to offer full refunds up until the time that your machines assembly process has started, provided your order does not include any non-standard customization's.

Please note: that as we are a small business, refunds can sometimes take up to 4 weeks to process.

Can I get a refund if I am unhappy with the CNC machine?

Our aim is to build the best desktop CNC machines in the sub-$10K price-range, and as a result, quality is our top priority. However, we do understand that our machines aren't for everyone.

If you do encounter issues with your machine, please contact us first so that we can work with you to resolve the issues. In the unlikely event that we are unable to resolve your issue, we will be happy to offer you a full refund once you have sent your machine back to us for inspection.

Please note: that as we are a small business, refunds can sometimes take up to 4 weeks to process.

If my machine is delayed for any reason can I get a refund?

This is the biggest killer of small manufacturing businesses, customers asking for refunds at the time of a delay as if we say yes to one we have to say yes to all and that is not possible. If there are ever delays they are most likely due to manufacturing issues or constraints lack of skilled staff pr product changes, we do understand delays can be frustrating and cost you money but please know our team is working as hard as we can to deliver machines on time.

Unfortunately if your machines has already been started we can't offer a refund however we are happy to work with you to make sure you don't miss critical deadlines, we do have a large manufacturing network we can pull from and are happy to foot some of those manufacturing costs to help you out.

If you would like to discuss this further please send us and email and we will see how we can help. sales@vertigotech.co.nz

Due to the current high demand, it can take up to 10 weeks from the date of purchase on all MX-N Machines and up to 5 months on all Titan and Titan Mini CNC routers.

Once I received shipping notification, how long will the machine take to arrive?

  • During peak season it can take up to two weeks, but generally shipment takes 3-7 working days anywhere in NZ, Please get in touch if you are experiencing delivery issues.

  • I am unable to track my machine with the supplied link.

Unfortunately, freight companies in NZ can be a little slow to update their tracking information. It can take up to 4 days to display correctly. Feel free to email us if you are unsure of where your shipment is.

How do you package your CNC machines?

All machines are shipped in purpose-built MDF crates with handles, The crates can also be used as a bench to operate the machine on.

    How are machines shipped?

Due to the weight and size of the machines, they are shipped with TIL Freighting within NZ. For shipments outside of NZ, we use TNL International, so the final delivery will be performed by their local agent in your country.

Can my machine be shipped by courier?

Unfortunately not. Due to the weight and size of our machines, they must be delivered by a freighting company.

Do I need a forklift to unload my machine?

All shipping crates have handles so can be lifted, but we have also added slats to the bottom of the crates so they can be easily lifted by a forklift if required. Our freight company, TIL Freighting, will generally use a pallet jack to lift the crate off their truck when they drop it off at your premises.

However, you will need to lift the machine out of the crate, which for our larger machines may require up to 4 people.

Can I pick up my machine from your factory?

Yes, you can! Our address is 7/33 Nga Mahi Rd Sockburn Christchurch. Please be sure to get in touch with us first to organize a convenient pickup time. Also please be aware of the dimensions of the machine you are purchasing so that you can be sure that your vehicle can safely carry it.
